Description
Project MMM is a local multi player installation game played with, midi fader controllers. The game puts the players in control of 8 airplanes each piloted by a different player. The goal of the players is to collect rings so that they can activate a variety of musical layers.
Project MMM is best played at parties and social gatherings. The game's controls are simple enough for anyone to understand them and challenging enough for more ambitious players to have fun as well. The game never ends and can run the background supplying procedural music to its spectators.
Project MMM (short for MIDI Multiplayer Madness) was first conceptualized as a university project. Due to its intuitive controls and its scalable multiplayer Project MMM is always a hit at festivals and showcases. Project MMM was displayed at the Next Level Festival in 2016 at Playin’ Siegen in 2017 and was awarded the special gaming prize at the German multimedia Awards in 2016.
